A German firm that set up an association with Barcana in the 1970s, Bendies began in 1982. In 1992, it was purchased by Margueritte Bessette and Robert Graves, who had joined the company earlier in 1984 in sales and marketing. Mr. Graves who has been the manager since 1987 and co-owner since 1992 now owns the building at 480 Edouard Street in Granby, QC since 1994.
